The Moon Myth

Acrylic Painting, 54" x 70", goes with the Mythmaker

A Machiguenga woman named Esparanza, along with her village, fish near an ancient wall of petroglyphs shrouded by forest foliage and the sediments of more than a thousand years.  Were the petroglyphs done by Esperanza's ancestors, or by an unknown culture that lived and fished in the same river, engraving their ancient secrets on the wall of stone?
