As we walk down a trail, the natural world is all around us. It is from that perspective that we see the environment and it is from that perspective we relate to it. But in the treetops of the rainforest, there is a miniature world, known only to those that can climb a tree or have the power to fly. The creatures in those environments have a very different point of reference than the one we know. In this integrated world above ground, we are seen as small beings, limited to the forest floor. From their point of view, we are insignificant when compared to the greater activity in the canopy of the trees.
