Wild Treasures of the Caribbean Poster for CITIES

In 1993, Helsaple was commissioned by CTSF to produce Wild Treasures of the Caribbean, a watercolor painting showing the endangered species of the Caribbean Ecosystem.  At the 1994 Conference of Parties, the original painting was presented by Helsaple and CTSF to the US Department of the Interior and dedicated to Mollie Beattie, then director of the US Fish & Wildlife Service . The original painting now hangs in Washington, DC at the US Fish and Wildlife Service. CITIES is a International Treaty among 126 nations that protect, preserve, and regulate global environmental laws.
