Betting and games of chance are becoming an American pastime.   48% of the players of chance games are between the ages of 35 to 55.    The organizers know there will always be more who play into the system than those who win big.    

In United States, most of us have the opportunity to pursue our dreams.   The seductive thrill of, "winner takes all", is easy to invest in.   As we become older, taking chances turns to acceptance and compromise.

"Wishful thinking"  captures that momentary excitement of re-investing in our fondest dreams.  The urge to spend a little, to gain so much is an irresistible escape from the realities of life.
